In April of 2023, I had the honor of spending some time with the pregnant mommas (called cows) in the Cairngorms. This photo was taking about a month before the calving season. I spent a couple of days watching them lazily drift about the hillside, alternating between rest and grazing. The beauty of the herds movements always mesmerizes me, especially when my mind is hectic. I love this photo because it relays proximity in a very intimate way, depicting how some reindeer are happiest when they are near another. That is something I think many of us can relate to.

Prints are produced on a Giclée printer using archival inks and 100% cotton hot press fine art paper. The default finish is smooth matte, which provides rich tones, sharp lines, and no glare.
