On a late October day, I sat on the sand at Mondo’s Beach while on the phone with a friend half around the world. I was lost and stuck in replay, and as she helped anchor me, this spectacular sunset unfolded before me. I balanced my phone on my tripod so she could watch the sunset with me over FaceTime. As we laughed, smiled, and even cried a little but, I snapped this picture. I hope you enjoy this photo as much as we enjoyed that evening.
